Opportunity for Workforce Development in Timber, Forest Health & Wildfire Mitigation!

Colorado Senate Bill 23-005 empowers the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) to support for-profit and non-profit organizations in hiring and training new employees in the timber, forest health, and wildfire mitigation industries. This innovative program offers up to 50% reimbursement for hiring and training costs!

Eligible positions include:
1. Mechanical timber harvesting and removal
2. Hand crew members for timber removal or wildfire mitigation
3. Wood products manufacturing and marketing
4. Mechanical, electrical, and equipment fabrication or operator roles
5. Forest health, forestry services, forest technicians, and forestry aides
6. Mechanical and non-mechanical hazardous fuels removal or reduction

There is no application deadline—CSFS will accept applications until all funding is allocated. Multiple positions for a single applicant are welcome!
